No downtime at Digistics: fast food all the way
South African printer supplier Roan Systems managed the upgrade to the new devices. Printronix line matrix printers typically last 7-10 years but as they age, they can become more susceptible to failure, which increases the risk of downtime in mission-critical areas.
"Every time a printer goes down, we stand to lose R125,000 on re-deliveries," says Etienne. "These printers are very rugged so we don't have downtime. But in the unlikely event of a printer going down, we contact Roan and they resolve all issues as a matter of urgency. Roans' service and support have always been impeccable."
