Another estate shines in international awards

Kloovenburg Shiraz 2005 has won a Double Gold at the 2007 Michelangelo International Wine Awards.

Since Kloovenburg's foray into winemaking with their maiden release – Kloovenburg Shiraz 1998, the estate has become renowned for its production of Shiraz and single varietal wines.

2007 is no exception, with the estate winning double gold at the Michelangelo International Wine Awards for their Shiraz 2005 – a feat as impressive as winning gold for their maiden Shiraz vintage as well as their Kloovenburg Shiraz 1999 and 2002.

The estate's Shiraz has received several awards and accolades – both locally and internationally, including being graded as the only South African Shiraz to receive a 5-star rating by the UK's Decanter Magazine in March 2005 for the Shiraz 2002. In addition the Kloovenburg Shiraz 2000 also scooped the Air France overall red wine award for 2001.

Suggested retail price is R77.00 per 750ml bottle.
