Agnes Ngwenya-Peter new GM for The INC

Previously she was national sales manager and board director at Thengisa Media. Ngwenya-Peter commenced her career in media at Independent Newspapers in the early 1990s at The Star.

Commenting on her appointment, Ngwenya-Peter says, “This has been a challenging year for the newspaper industry, but we have a great team at The INC. We have always focused on offering excellent service. Going forward, I anticipate maintaining these standards but uplifting our capacity to offer creative and flexible advertising solutions to our client base.”

Nazeem Howa, executive director operations, added, “We are most fortunate. Agnes knows the business inside out and is a resourceful and resilient manager. She has proven her capabilities over the past four years and we are confident that she brings both the experience and leadership qualities necessary to run the largest and most successful newspaper sales house in the country.”

Ngwenya-Peter replaces Andrew Cuthbertson, who is returning to live in the UK.
