Ad space cleared for Red Cross appeal
Broadcasters and newspapers in the US are giving large areas of advertising space to the American Red Cross' disaster relief effort.
Also, a number of large corporations are running Red Cross adverts instead of their usual ads; companies like Ford Motor Company, Sears Corporation, Lee Jeans, Anheuser-Busch Foundation, Coinstar and General Motors.
