• Coordinate activities with the MEA SIS team in Dubai in order to produce syndicated and custom research for Enterprise Systems.
• Conduct primary & secondary market research, analyze business & market trends within the Systems & Infrastructure Solutions industry for the Southern African region.
• Schedule and attend face-to-face and telephonic meetings with all relevant market players – vendors and channel partners on a quarterly basis, in order to collect numbers and insights on Enterprise Systems' technologies.
• Prepare thorough & well organized reports and market insights, writing of summaries, press releases and other publications.
• Work with quantitative market sizing and forecasting analytical tools.
• Contribute to consulting project engagements within SIS and, whenever necessary, in cross-collaboration with other IDC domains.
• Public speaking & periodic public presentations at IDC events and clients.
• Building & maintaining industry relationships and pro-actively promoting IDC products and services. Quarterly updates on meetings and discussions with IDC current clients/potential clients and research partners.
• Contribute to Systems & Infrastructure Solutions business development by referring potential opportunities to IDC Sales
