The theme for the awards, to be held in Sandton on 18 October, is “Talent Intelligence”, using data and insights to make people a business’s competitive advantage.

Expanding opportunities for youth

Keynote speaker Tashmia Ismail-Saville, CEO of the Youth Employment Service (YES), will share insights on expanding opportunities for youth. YES is a groundbreaking business-led collaboration with government and labour to create one million work opportunities for youth.

She will be joined by David Whelan, head of Africa, LinkedIn Talent Solutions.

“We are very excited about our first-ever South Africa Talent Awards. Over the past years, the awards in other geographies have recognised and highlighted organisations and decision-makers who have steered their talent success through the use of our solutions.

“We look forward to celebrating the achievements of individuals and companies who add value by creating great workplace culture,” said Whelan.
