Baker & McKenzie has appointed the outgoing chairman, Eduardo Leite as its new chairman emeritus and senior partner. Leite is to end his term as chairman at the end of this month following six years in the role.
From January 2017, Leite will be based in New York and will focus on developing strategies to increase the firm's New York-based capabilities for clients doing business in Latin America, a region in which Baker & McKenzie is the dominant global law firm.
