Three film professionals to represent SA at Berlinale Talents
Three South Africans form part of the 250 worldwide film professionals who will participate in the Berlin International Film Festival's annual Berlinale Talents summit and networking forum. The South African representatives will join 250 of their peers, who hail from 77 countries, to share ideas, network, and further develop their latest projects.
The three film professionals representing South Africa are Tamsin Ranger, a producer and distributor from Cape Town who focuses on African stories; Sydelle Willow Smith, a documentary distributor, an award-winning photographer, filmmaker, NGO director, and lecturer; South African-born filmmaker Joshua Magor has also been selected, he is currently splitting his time between South Africa and London.
