Startups invited to apply for AppsAfrica Innovation Awards

Startups have been invited to apply for the fourth annual AppsAfrica Innovation Awards, which celebrate the best in mobile and tech from across Africa.

The AppsAfrica Innovation Awards, which also aims to showcase the continent’s most innovative ventures, provides winners with industry recognition, global publicity, and networking opportunities with over 300 industry peers at the awards ceremony in Cape Town on 12 November 2018.

Winners are also invited to Africa Tech Summit Kigali 2019 to join more than 400 tech leaders from across the continent.

The awards provide are open to corporates, established ventures or startups who have launched tech services in at least one African market across 14 categories, which include disruptive innovation, health tech, ed-tech, fintech, agri-tech and social impact.

Applications will be assessed by a team of expert judges, while the deadline for entries is 7 September 2018. Shortlisted finalists will be announced in October.
